Team Evergreen Racing (TER) is for you if:

Membership Card

Yes, you get your very own TER membership card. It has your name on it and everything. Bring it with you to one of our sponsoring bike shops for discounts, and just carry it around with you because it's so cool!

Team Kit

Your membership fee includes a custom jersey, shorts (or bibs) and merino wool socks from DeFeet. Wear the Team’s colors on all your rides - just be sure to wash them in between! A new kit is designed every year and you're welcome to boldly wear it wherever you go! Even to work! Just remember that while wearing your TER kit, you are representing the Team, so be fast and be friendly at all times!

Weekly Email from TER

Every week, get news, information, and a really good feeling as the Team sends out its email blast to all members. The email will keep you informed about the Team’s weekly road and mountain rides, training opportunities, and upcoming races. We’ll remind you of upcoming events, deadlines, schwag deals, and races. Stay in the loop, stay informed, and stay involved!

Shop Discounts

TER has two metro area bike shop sponsors. Every time you come the shop, show your membership card to receive cost plus on all parts and accessories, and serious discounts on tune-ups. Please be polite at the shops, they are our biggest supporters, and when your friends ask you to recommend a bike shop, give our shops a plug.

Special Offers from Sponsors

TER’s product sponsors may offer special “closed door” deals, often at wholesale prices or below, to Racers. Our sponsors include a major bike sponsor, Rudy Project glasses, Reynolds Wheels, Polar heart monitors, and many others. Special offers from sponsors are available to Racers only, are confidential and are not open to the public.

Team Parties and Social Events

We have an annual party and occasional social get-togethers. Come to the parties for food and beverage, awards, and just good plain fun! You can also attend rides and social events related to Team Evergreen, our parent bike club. Watch your weekly Team emails and Team Evergreen’s monthly “Bike Beat” magazine for the 411 on events and get-togethers.

Rider Incentive Program

TER is designed to get everyone involved in racing bikes. At TER, we believe that part of racing bikes is winning something, even if you don’t win the race. All Racers have the opportunity to enter their season’s results into the Team’s Rider Incentive Program (RIP) tally sheet. At the end of the year, all points are tallied and the Team awards prizes and schwag to Racers based on how they raced. Consider it a little extra incentive to get out and race early and often!

Get Involved and Give Back

TER is an all volunteer outfit of dedicated bike people, and we love new people with energy and new ideas that make our Team fast and fun. Every Racer is eligible to serve on TER’s board of directors. After you join the Team and settle in, consider grabbing a spot on the Board.
TER is also dedicated to making our community a better place for cycles and cyclists of all ages. Each Racer is required to make two “volunteer efforts” each season. Why? It gives something back to the community, promotes biking, makes TER look good, and gives our sponsors the positive exposure they have come to expect from us. Even better, giving something back to the community is good karma for you.
Not sure what kind of volunteering you might like to do? Don’t worry, TER has a volunteer coordinator to point you in the right direction. Its easy, fun and fulfilling.

Membership Requirements

Your membership fee, due annually, includes your TER jersey, shorts (or bib), and socks. It also entitles you to your membership card and everything you see above. We request that you plan to race at least three races, and volunteer two times (or forfeit $50 as an alternative to volunteering).

Also, each Racer is required to be a member in good standing of Team Evergreen Bicycle Club (TE). TE covers our insurance, which is good for the racing team. TE also gives you a discount when you sign up for the Triple Bypass, which is good for you. Details at www.teamevergreen.org.
