Team Evergreen Racing

Team Evergreen Racing (TER) is a large bicycle racing team with approximately 140 members. TER is associated with Team Evergreen Bicycle Club and is active year round. Training rides on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings have attendance of 20 to 30 riders (depending on the weather) and are structured so that each rider can get the most out of the ride.

Races are also well attended. The Winter Park series turns out the most racers, but other races like the Bob Cook, The BURN, Cherry Creek Time Trial series and the ACA road races are well attended.

The team grew out of need. In past years, the more advanced and serious riders tended to leave the bike club for race teams and other specialized clubs. Now that the club is affiliated with the race team, the team can recruit more advanced club members, and the serious club member has another outlet in which to find like riders and further develop their fitness and bicycle skills.

Each year the team holds several social events, usually around bicycle themes like season kick-off, rewards presentations and end of series parties.
